LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in west Louisville early today.
Officers were called to south 37th Street near Broadway on reports of a shooting just after 1 a.m. Tuesday. That's where they found the victim, who was taken to University Hospital.
No word yet on this condition or identity.
Police shut down parts of west Broadway during the investigation and investigators spent hours scouring a two-block area for evidence.
Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous crime tipline at 574-LMPD (574-5673).
