Some Indiana drivers face gasoline recall

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Indiana officials are investigating a BP gasoline recall.

The bad gas from the Whiting refinery was sold at northwest Indiana stations earlier this month.

Drivers have reported rattling engines, check engine lights coming on, and problems starting their cars.

A BP spokesman says the company will cooperate with the Indiana attorney general's investigation.

Attorney General Greg Zoeller says he wants to make sure consumers' rights are taken into consideration.

Several consumers said they were on hold with BP customer service phone lines for two hours Tuesday night.
