LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say they arrested a man after his sixth attempt to burglarize homes in the Louisville area.

It happened at a home on Winter View Drive, near Autumn Lake Drive in south Louisville.

Police say late Monday night, 37-year-old Tony G. Gray tried to get into the home of a single woman, and was attempting to push the door open.

"This is the sixth time that officers have made this run on this subject trying to get into houses, banging on doors and turning off people's circuit breakers," police said. "He seems to be becoming more and more agitated during contact with officers, even threatening to turn his dog loose on them."

Police say the woman called police, but Gray was gone before officers got there.

But that wasn't the last the woman heard of him that night, according to police. He allegedly came back after officers left the scene.

Police were called again, and they arrived "in less than four minutes."

When they confronted Gray, he allegedly jumped off the front porch, "and a neighbor caught him as he fell."

He was arrested and charged with burglary, according to an arrest report. As he was being arrested, he allegedly claimed that the woman in the house, "wanted to have sex with him."
