LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Authorities have dismissed all of the charges against a man accused of volatile substance abuse after sources say he served out his sentence.
According to an arrest report, Gregory A. White, age 27, was arrested on Aug. 29, 2012, in the 1700 block of Bardstown Road, after he was allegedly found with gold spray paint on his face, as well as a plastic bag with gold spray paint on it. Police originally said they "could smell a heavy odor of paint coming from his person," according to the report. He was charged with -- among other things -- volatile substance abuse.
Upon his arrest, White also tried to conceal a small baggie of marijuana under the back seat of the officer's car as he was being taken to jail, the arrest report states.
Bill Patteson, a representative of the Jefferson County Attorney's Office, tells WDRB News that in Sept. 2012, White pled guilty to volatile substance abuse and possession of marijuana.
He was ordered to pay a total fine of $470. He did not have to serve jail time.
All charges were dismissed in March, after White paid the fine, according to court documents.
