LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The numbers sometimes lie, and you can't always trust statistics, but one thing about them is certain: Once you start crunching numbers, you never know where they will take you. In that spirit, here are some numbers to think about heading into Sunday's rivalry game between the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville:
0 -- Number of college games played by U of L's corps of punters and place-kickers.
0-2 -- UK's record in games played on Sept. 2. The last Sept. 2 game UK played was a 40-34 overtime loss to the Cardinals in 2000, a game delayed by lightning. The Wildcats took a lead to the locker room for the delay, but U of L took control afterward for the upset win.
1.1 -- Net yards per carry for UK in last season's game against U of L.

5 -- Number of Louisville natives on UK's roster (Thomas Chapman, Mister Cobble, Steven Duff, Max Godby and Matt Smith). Also the number of graduates on U of L's roster (Alex Kupper, Daniel Brown, Will Stein, Nick Heuser and Nate Nord all are working on Masters' Degrees) and the number of U of L players who have changed positions. Aaron Epps went from TE to OT, Charles Gaines from CB to WR, Kamal Hogan from RB to S, Jalen Harrington from S to LB and Zed Evans from RB to S.
