LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The victim in Friday night's fatal accident near Louisville's Chickasaw area has been identified.

Jefferson County Coroner Bob Jones says that 47-year-old Thomas Saunders died of multiple injuries sustained in the crash.

Police say Saunders was riding a motorcycle near the intersection of Southwestern Parkway and Westchester Avenue when he hit the side of a Jeep Liberty.

It happened just after nine o'clock Friday night.

The coroner says Saunders was not wearing a helmet.

No one else was hurt in the crash.
