LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A lawsuit has been filed less than a week after the groundbreaking for a new Ohio River Bridge.

The non-profit Coalition for the Advancement of Regional Transportation (CART) has filed 14 complaints.

It alleges the bridges project is a scheme to privatize the free interstate system and move businesses and jobs away from downtown Louisville.

It also claims the bridges project will have significant negative economic, social and environmental impacts on the community as a whole.
