LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana town has been named one of the coolest small towns in the country.
Budget Travel Magazine says Nashville, Indiana, became a turn-of-the-century Midwest artists' colony. That reputation puts the town at number five on the list.
Galleries and crafts studios still line the streets today.
The report highlights the 23-room Artists Colony Inn and the Brown County Playhouse.
Also mentioned are the Weed Patch Music Company, a custom guitar and banjo shop, and the Muddy Boots Cafe.
It was tie at the top for coolest in the country, between Hammondsport, New York, and Beaufort, North Carolina.
