Diverse restaurants, cultures, and business showcased in South Louisville

The Third Annual Taste of South Louisville is this Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Bellamine University, Frazier Hall from 6:00-8:00pm.

The evening showcases the diverse restaurants, cultures, and businesses of South Louisville and the surrounding area.

Sample foods from Rubbies, Jimbo's Barbeque, First String, Thornberry's Deli, Tuscany, Vietnam Kitchen, Shack in the Back, Flavor Catering, Havana Rumba, Little Caesar's, El Nopal, Chick Fil A, Sunergos, 7UP and Snapple, Pit Stop BBQ, and Valumarket.

The silent auction includes items from the University of Louisville Athletics' department, Cincinnati Bengals, Bellamine University, Holiday World, Kentucky Derby Museum and Churchill Downs, Mega Cavern, Springhurst Tennis Club, The Louisville Bats, Noah's Ark Winery, and many more.

Tickets are available at many local churches and at the door.

$12 for a single ticket, $20 per couple.

The event benefits the South Louisville Community Ministries.
