LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Charlestown Animal Control officer faced a judge Friday morning to answer for charges of selling meth on the job.

Robert Young appeared in a Clark County, Ind. courtroom and plead not guilty to five counts of selling the drugs within 1,000 feet of a school.

He was in a city-owned animal control vehicle. Young is now out of jail on a $25,000 bond, and is expected back in court next month.

Court records show Young had a 2005 conviction for dealing meth out of Posey County.
