FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) -- Police have arrested four suspects who they believe shot at an ambulance transporting a stabbing victim from a Fort Wayne nightclub, injuring several people.
The Journal Gazette reports the shooting followed a fight inside the nightclub about 3 a.m. Sunday that resulted in a stabbing. Police say the ambulance was taking the victim to a hospital with family members following in their car when a white car opened fire on the family car and the ambulance.
All three people in the family car were shot and were hospitalized in stable condition. A medic in the ambulance was hurt by broken glass. Police say he was in fair condition.
Officers later stopped the white car and arrested its four occupants.
