That's where he found Darnishia Peoples with multiple stab wounds inside his house and called police. The 17-year old later died at University Hospital.

Shively Police are investigating what led up to the fatal stabbing that took place Saturday night on Peaslee Rd.

A 17-year old boy is accused of killing her. But his father believes his son is innocent.

Robinson says, "When I got here that's when I found Darnishia and my son in the house, and of course Darnishia laying in on the kitchen floor stabbed, bleeding, unconscious. My son was there and he was just saying that he tried to save her."

He says his son told him Darnishia tried to commit suicide, and he was trying to save her.

John says the two teens dated on and off for several years, and just last week they started seeing each other again. He has no idea what led up to the tragic night.

Robinson says, "It's been a big ordeal because its a loss. I cared a lot about Darnishia and I hate to see her leave, hate to see her gone, we're gonna miss her."

The 17-year old is behind bars until he goes to court. He is charged with one count of murder.
