"Wicked" comes to the Kentucky Center

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The popular Broadway musical, "Wicked" has moved into the Kentucky Center.

Crews unloaded 11 semi trucks worth of costumes, sets and equipment this morning. It takes two and a half days to set up the show.

Tomorrow is opening night for the show in Louisville. There are ways to get some reasonably priced tickets.

"We also have a lottery," says "Wicked" Company Manager Erica Norgaard. "It's two and a half hours before a performance. You enter your name. If your name is drawn, you can win one or two cash tickets for $25 each. So its a great way to see the show, orchestra level seats for $25."

This company has been touring for three and a half years. The show runs at the Kentucky Center through the end of the month.
