LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A former New Albany mayoral candidate and another man have been arrested on charges of voter fraud.

Paul Etheridge, who was running for mayor, and Joshua Clemons are accused of forging, soliciting, and delivering four absentee ballots in the 2011 mayoral election.

Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson says he began investigating after the County Clerk and the Election Commission reported that there may have been issues with the absentee ballots during the primary elections that year.

Each man faces three felony counts.  If convicted they face up to nine years behind bars and fines.
