LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Some local students are getting a new teaching tool for the classroom. Friday morning Amazon donated 40 Kindles to the Meredith Dunn School.
It also gave the students a $2500 gift card for uploading content to the devices.
The school offers specialized instruction for students in grades 1 through 8 with learning disabilities and learning differences.
Gregg Walsh of Amazon said, "It's just a great opportunity to be a part of the community. Louisville is a great community, so partnering here, meeting with the students, faculty, and staff to upload the content to the Kindles."
The school's principal hopes the new Kindles will help the students become better readers.
