LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say they apprehended a Louisville man accused of robbing a bank last week.

Brandon William McMillian is accused of walking into the PNC Bank on New Cut Road, near 3rd Street Road, on Monday, Sept. 10, and giving the teller a handwritten note.

It allegedly said, "I am armed and dangerous. Give me all your money."

After getting the bank cash, McMillian allegedly ran away.

Police say that when they captured him on Friday afternoon, McMillian had a used hypodermic needle with heroine residue in it.

He was charged with first degree robbery and possession of a controlled substance.
