LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The relief fund set up to help people whose homes and lives were devastated in the March second tornado has given out all of its money.
The New Hope Services / Indiana Bankers Association Disaster Relief Fund helped people with medical bills, upgrading their homes, and expenses for food, clothing, and transportation.
The country music group Lady Antebellum selected the group to receive the proceeds from its benefit concert back in May. Altogether, the fund raised nearly 380 thousand dollars.
All of that money went to the community -- none of it was used for administrative costs.
