LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused of fatally shooting two men has officially been charged with their murders.

Mahmoud Hindi was arraigned in circuit court this afternoon.

A judge entered a not guilty plea for him.

He's charged with two counts of murder in the deaths of 73-year-old David Merritt and 69-year-old Marvin Fisher at the Springdale Community Church.

Hindi was reportedly involved in a long dispute with his homeowners association over a fence and driveway at his home.

Hindi is being held without bond and has requested a public defender.

He could face the death penalty.
