People with disabilities can learn how to "get in the game" at the Annual Adapted Sports "Roll Out" event, Saturday, September 22, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Crawford Gymnasium on the University of Louisville Belknap campus.
The event is free and open to the public, and includes family activities and free refreshments.
The "Roll Out" will feature exhibitors and live demonstrations from local athletes, including adaptive rowing, archery, dancing, wheelchair basketball, tennis, wheelchair fencing, and more.
Also, several athletes competing in the London 2012 Paralympic Games - Scott Danberg, Dennis Ogbe, and Oksana Masters - have been invited to meet children and talk about adaptive sports.
