LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A very small ammonia leak forced the evacuation of a business in Butchertown Tuesday afternoon.
Between 15 and 20 employees of the Stir the Pot food plant were told to leave the building as a precaution. Within minutes, they were able to return to work.
Major Richard Haines with Louisville Fire and Rescue tells WDRB News the leak was very small and that systems within the building to stop the leak worked.
Authorities say there was no danger to the public.
