LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The landmark Old Forester water tower bottle has gained a new look. The Louisville icon now features the new label for "America's first bottled bourbon."
The unveiling wasn't the only reason for Brown-Forman officials to gather Wednesday. They also paid tribute to the bourbon's creator, George Garvin Brown the first.
More than 140 years later, Old Forester is the only bourbon brand still in existence to be produced by the same distiller before, during, and after prohibition.
