LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Frontier Airlines is about to fly out of Louisville. The airline announced it will drop flights in Louisville, Philadelphia, Sacramento, and Akron-Canton.
Service to those cities, along with flights to Provo, Utah, will end the first week of January. The move is part of continuing route shake-up at the struggling carrier.
Frontier is in the midst of trying to reinvent itself under the ownership of parent company Republic Airways. Republic said last month that it expects to sell or spin off the Denver-based airline in the first half of next year.
