Spinach recalled from local Kroger stores

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Kroger is recalling spinach sold at grocery stores in 15 states including Kentucky and Indiana.

The Fresh Selections Tender Spinach is being recalled because of possible Listeria contamination.

The spinach came in 10-ounce packages and had a "best if used by" date of September 16th.

The grocer says those who bought the affected spinach should return it to stores for a full refund or replacement.
