Judge denies gag order in hit-and-run case

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two men who were victims in a hit and run will still be allowed to talk about what happened.

Friday morning, a judge denied a gag order request to keep them and police from talking about the case.

It all started when police say a car failed to yield to oncoming vehicles on Brooks Hill Road in Bullitt County and struck two men.

Mike Shea and John Tolliver were injured in that crash.

Officers say the car's driver ran away, while Wendy Dishman stayed with the car -- but they say Dishman gave them incorrect information about who the driver was. She's charged with hindering prosecution.

Shea says there were eight or nine witnesses to the case.
