Richie Farmer's foreclosed home sold at auction

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Richie Farmer's foreclosed home has sold at auction for $175,000.  The new owner is the bank that held the more than $300,000 mortgage.

This is the latest blow to the former University of Kentucky basketball star.  Since losing the race for lieutenant governor last year, Farmer has gotten divorced, been faced heavy criticism in a state audit that accused him using state workers to do personal chores, and is under FBI investigation.

Farmer, who's been unemployed since he left office last December, lost a bid last week to have his child support payments reduced.
