Sam Kinnaird's Flooring
Sam Kinnaird the “Name in Floor Covering” for over 40 years, started his new company Sam Kinnaird’s Flooring in 1989 with fellow partners Jim Mudd and Merv Huber. Sam was active in the business for 10 years until 1999 when he retired again.
Currently, Sam Kinnaird’s Flooring and Granite has two locations. The original store at 1200 Gardiner Lane (formerly 4343 Poplar Level Road), and a second at 12621 Shelbyville Road in Middletown in the Kroger Shopping Center.
Sam Kinnaird’s is a full service, “professionally installed” floor covering dealer. We service the retail, new home construction, commercial, and multifamily housing markets. Products that we sell and install include; carpet, vinyl, hardwood, laminate, area rugs, ceramic tile, porcelain and natural stone. In 2009 we entered the granite counter top and frameless glass shower enclosures market. In 2011, we also entered the window treatment market. We are truly a “one stop shop.”
We are a member of the National Floorcovering Alliance (The NFA), a group of the largest floor covering dealers in North America. Only one tenth of one percent of dealers in North America qualify to be members of the NFA. This gives us tremendous buying power. We also inventory a large selection of carpet, hardwood, vinyl, area rugs, laminate and ceramic tile for quick installation.
We are Louisville’s exclusive Stainmaster Flooring Center and an Armstrong Elite Dealer which is the best of the best! All owners and managers were born and raised in Louisville. Their heart and souls are dedicated to Louisville.
