LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Branch of the NAACP is doing its part to make sure people are registered and educated about the upcoming election.
Raoul Cunningham of the NAACP told reporters Wednesday that a massive effort is underway to help get voters to the polls this November.
Cunningham says the stakes are high for the presidential race, but there are races on the ballot that they say could be even more important. "In 2008," he said, "we did not have candidates running for school board who are opposed to the student assignment plan."
