It's rained all day in Hattiesburg, Miss., Saturday and figures to be raining when U of L plays Southern Miss.
HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDRB) – Good thing Louisville and
Southern Mississippi aren't playing baseball here tonight.
It's raining. It's been raining. I drove from New Orleans,
about a two-hour journey, and it rained all the way across I-10 and I-59.
And it is supposed to rain until at least kickoff – 8 p.m.
EDT. Chances of rain, with thunderstorms, are least 60 percent for the rest of
the evening.
Louisville learned to play in soggy conditions last weekend
at Florida International. We'll discover if they learned anything from the
experience.
Cards remain a 10 1/2-point favorite, primarily because
Southern Miss (0-3) has been dreadful, ranking 100th or worse in 10
difference NCAA FBS statistical categories.
