LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Homes in the Louisville area are gaining value. New data released by Corelogic shows Louisville home prices rose by 1.3 percent in August, compared to last year.
On a month over month basis, home prices decreased by .6 percent from July to August. On the national level, home prices are up just over 4.5 percent from a year ago.
It's the largest year-to-year increase in more than six years, and they're expected to keep gaining value.
