LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- State police arrest a man from Santa Claus, Ind., on child molestation and child solicitation charges.
Officers jailed Karl Rustin, 56, of Santa Claus, Wednesday afternoon. He is accused of molesting two girls, ages 11 and 13, for approximately one year, according to an Ind. State Police news release.
Detectives started an investigation after a tip from Dubois County Child Protection Services, police said.
Rustin was taken into custody "without incident" and was booked into the Spencer County Jail. His preliminary charges are two counts each of child molestation and child solicitation. Both charges are felonies.
There was no immediate word when Rustin would appear in court for an initial hearing.
