LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Every day, 78 people get a second chance at life through organ donation.
Today, families celebrated that with the Trust For Life.
Twenty years ago, the Kentucky Association of Circuit Court Clerks started the outreach program to collect money to promote organ donation.
Since then, they've raised more than $7 million.
The Speck family has experienced the joys of organ donation firsthand.
Six and a half years ago, their son Riley had a successful heart transplant.
"You don't think about organ donation as much until it affects you personally," says Brandi Speck. "So I had thought about it, but when this happened with my son, obviously we have been big supporters of organ donation and trying to help spread the word."
Kentucky's new drivers licenses will include an organ donor logo next to the license number.
