Vandals hit Baxter Station four times in one month

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Vandals target a restaurant in the Highlands four times in the past month.

The owner of Baxter Station says he hasn't seen anything this severe since he opened his doors.

Andrew Hutto says, "I've put my heart and my soul into this place for 21 years and to deal with stuff like this is just insulting."

Vandals smashed the front window Wednesday night, and Hutto replaces it the next day. But it happened again.

When employees showed up for work Saturday, the same window was broken.

Dave Baker works at the restaurant. He says, "I'm afraid they're gonna start messing with my van and stuff because obviously they don't care about other people's stuff."

A few weeks ago, someone broke the back door and spray painted the side of the building. Employees tried to cover it up, but it still leaves a mark.

Hutto says, "My business is totally alarmed and totally videoed and it's like what do you think you're gaining from this?"

Hutto is determined to find answers. He says if something like this happens again, they will catch the criminal.
