LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The coroner has released the name of a woman killed Thursday night in an accident on the Sherman Minton Bridge.
Jefferson County Coroner Jo Ann Farmer says 27-year-old Krista Hagedorn, of Sellersburg, Indiana, died of blunt force injuries at University Hospital just after 8 p.m. Thursday.
Police say Hagedorn and a man she was with were struck by a car on the bridge, after they got out of their SUV in the far right lane of the bridge's westbound level. Apparently, they had run out of gas.
The man was also hurt, but police say his injuries were non life-threatening.
