No injuries in house fire in New Albany

NEW ALBANY Ind. (WDRB) -- No one was injured in a fire that damaged a New Albany home early this morning.

New Albany firefighters were called out to the house fire on east Oak Street near 11th Street just after 2 a.m. Monday.

Four people had escaped the home before firefighters arrived. Firefighters had the flames under control within 25 minutes.

The Red Cross is helping the people who lived in the home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
