LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police officers arrested a musically inclined Washington man after he was allegedly caught hitchhiking near Cannons Lane and I-64 Monday evening.
It happened just before 7 p.m. Police say they saw 20-year-old Kyle Bradbeer, "playing a mandolin and holding a small dog on a leash, attempting to flag passing motorists to drive him to Lexington."
Bradbeer allegedly told officers he was doing nothing wrong by standing near the ramp from Cannons Lane to eastbound I-64.
When an officer told Bradbeer to walk away, the suspect allegedly said, "You are a [EXPLETIVE]! I have my rights...I'm innocent of any wrongdoing! I could be on my way to Lexington now if it wasn't for a [EXPLETIVE] like you!"
Bradbeer was arrested and charged with hitchhiking on limited access facilities and disorderly conduct -- both of which are misdemeanors.
