LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Money paid to an Indiana law firm to defend Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson is going under the microscope.

Floyd County, Indiana paid $27,000 to the firm handling the ethics complaint against Henderson, who at the time was prosecuting the David Camm murder case.

The Indiana Court of Appeals removed Henderson from the case after defense lawyers said he improperly made a deal for a book about the former Indiana State Trooper.

A Floyd County resident argues the county should have never spent taxpayer dollars to defend Henderson.

The State Board of Accounts will investigate if the payment was appropriate.
