LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A total of 24 cases of fungal meningitis linked to tainted shots have now been reported in Indiana.

A state health official released that information today, just one day after federal officials confirmed Indiana's first death from the illness.

The family of an 89-year-old Michigan woman says they believe she died after receiving two injections at a northern Indiana clinic.

Indiana's 24 cases involve patients from clinics in Elkhart, Evansville, Fort Wayne, South Bend, Terre Haute and Columbus.
