LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Indiana State Police arrested a Seymour, Ind. man after being called twice to the same home on alleged domestic incidents.

The first time troopers arrived at the home in the 1100 block of Mockingbird Lane in Jackson County, about 11:40 p.m. Sunday, they found the man involved in what was called a "verbal domestic disturbance" had left the scene.  They caught up with 33-year-old Zachary Lyle along U.S. 31, but let him go after deciding no one had committed a crime.

Troopers received a call to return to the same address about 1:15 Monday morning. They were told Lyle had battered 32-year-old Madeline Andrews, but had left the scene again.  Troopers say they found him looking into a window at the Mockingbird Lane home about 2:20 a.m.

Lyle was taken to the Jackson County Jail and charged with Domestic Battery in the Presence of a Child, two counts of Intimidation, Resisting Law Enforcement, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Intoxication.
