Louisville woman injured in fall at Penn State

Posted: Updated:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A former Christian Academy of Louisville cheerleader who now attends Penn State was critically injured when she fell 39 feet out of an apartment window.

The Centre Daily Times newspaper says Paige Raque fell from a fifth-floor apartment at Calder Commons Apartments late on Oct. 13.

A nursing supervisor at the hospital where she's being treated could not confirm her condition last night, though the newspaper reports she is in critical condition.

Penn State has had little to say about the incident other than it is still under police investigation.

Radio station WRTA in Altoona, Pa. quotes police as saying they believe the fall was accidental, and they do not suspect criminal activity.
