LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A judge is close to deciding where David Camm's next trial will be held. The former state trooper is to stand trial for the murders of his wife and two children in August of next year.
A Spencer County judge is still trying to determine where it will take place.
David Camm is a former Indiana state trooper accused of killing his wife and two children inside their Georgetown home in September of 2000. He has been convicted twice, but both convictions have been overturned by higher courts.
"The only thing I'm concerned about," says Kim Camm's father Frank Renn, "I've talked about before, is trying to make arrangements to stay. And we'd like to find out ahead of time actually where it's going to be at so we can kinda go up and check places out."
During the second trial, Charles Boney was named as a co-defendant and eventually convicted.
Camm was not in court Monday, but his in-laws and attorneys were.
Another hearing is scheduled for December -- that's when the judge is expected to announce the location of the third trial.
