Louisville earned all 15 first-place votes in the writers' pre-season Big East poll. The coaches poll will be released Wednesday.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – It's tough to get a group of 15
writers to agree on anything. But 15 writers that cover Big East basketball,
including me, agree that Louisville is the unanimous pick to win the men's
basketball title. Rick Pitino will have a day to react to the news.
Mike Waters of Syracuse.com posted his poll early this
morning: Here is the link:

The top three teams:
- Louisville
- Syracuse
- Notre Dame.
The Big East coaches' poll will be released Wednesday at the
league's media gathering in New York City. Waters will release the all-league
team, player of the year and newcomer of the year later today.
