LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a Louisville man climbed through a woman's window and demanded that she perform a sex act on him at knifepoint.

It happened shortly after 4 a.m. on Oct. 12. That's when police say 21-year-old Desmond J. Dixon climbed through a basement window at the woman's home on Mae Avenue, near Crums Lane.

He then allegedly walked into the woman's bedroom and woke her up, holding her at knifepoint and demanding money and guns.

Police say the woman struggled against him and -- during that struggle -- she received a cut to her hand and a knot on her forehead.

Dixon then forced the woman to perform a sex act on him as he held her at knifepoint, according to the arrest report.

When the woman's husband arrived home, police say the woman began screaming for help, and Dixon ran out the front door. Police were called, and officers say they caught up with Dixon at the corner of Crums Lane and Sunflower Avenue.

Police say Dixon admitted to the crime. He was arrested and charged with first degree sodomy and first degree burglary, according to the arrest report.
