LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky State Police say they've arrested a man who was intoxicated while hunting on someone else's property.
According to an arrest report, police were called by a landowner who said a man was hunting on the victim's property without permission.
Police say they found 44-year-old Brian K. Wise near a bale of hay, "hunting while drinking beer." He allegedly had a crossbow and two empty beer cans with him.
He had bloodshot eyes, impaired speech and had trouble standing, according to police.
Wise was arrested on land near the corner of Routt Road and Taylorsville Lake Road, police say. According to the arrest report, he was charged with entry on land to hunt without consent, and hunting while under the influence of alcohol.
His crossbow was confiscated, according to the arrest report.
