LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It could be several weeks before the Louisville man accused of stealing money from the charity he founded appears in court.

Stan Curtis was scheduled to make his initial appearance on Thursday, on charges that he took more than $180,000 from USA Harvest.

But his attorney says Curtis is still in the hospital, and won't be able to appear in court for some time.

Scott Cox is asking the judge to delay Curtis' arraignment until at least mid-November.

He also says the prosecution isn't objecting to the request.
