LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man is facing several charges after police say they found him passed out in his car with his young daughter in the back seat.
According to the arrest report, an officer was flagged down in the 3600 block of Seventh Street Road around 6 p.m. on Oct. 17. by someone reporting a man down inside a nearby vehicle.
When the officer checked the vehicle, 23-year-old John Montgomery was found passed out in the driver's seat with his 2-year-old daughter in the back seat. Police say the engine was still running.
Police say Montgomery told the officer he had consumed one 40-oz. beer and two xanax pills about three hours before he got in the vehicle with his daughter.
Montgomery was arrested at the scene. He's charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
