LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Unemployment is slightly down in Kentucky, with numbers just released showing the jobless rate at 8.4 percent.
That's down, despite a loss of 2,000 manufacturing jobs, largely due to the outsourcing of some factory jobs. The trade, transportation, and utilities sector added 7500 jobs in September.
Jobs in leisure and hospitality, government workforce, and construction also increased.
