LMPD asks for help in finding bank robbery suspect

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Robbery Unit is asking for help in finding a suspect in a Friday bank robbery. 

Police say a woman robbed the Chase Bank in the 3900 block of South Seventh Street at 18 minutes past noon.  They say the suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money.  The teller handed over the money and police say the suspect ran from the bank.

The suspect is described as a black woman, 45-55 yrs old, 5'5" – 5'6", 130 – 150 lbs., with scars on both cheeks, possibly from acne or missing teeth.
