LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Family and friends gathered today to say goodbye to a teacher and coach killed in a car crash this week.
They held the visitation and funeral for Brian Walters Saturday afternoon.
Walters was killed after police say he ran off the road and overcorrected, striking a pickup in Spencer County.
Walters was a father and husband. He also taught English at Bullitt East High School.
He was also the girls soccer coach at Ballard in Louisville, where the girls remembered their coach during a emotional match this week with Sacred Heart.
