LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- Sullivan University System steps up in a big way, helping to educate employees and clients at Wayside Christian Mission free of charge.

The two groups announced a year-long partnership during a press conference Friday morning.

Sullivan University plans to provide free medical screenings, nutrition training, hotel operations training, and other skills for Wayside Christian Mission employees.

It's an opportunity for Wayside's homeless clients to learn important life skills.

Hazel Sullivan of the Sullivan University System explains, "We're going to talk to them about personal budgeting. We are going to talk to them about personal budgeting. We are going to talk to them about dressing when you are going for an interview, so we are talking about all aspects. There is not a stone that is going to be unturned."

The partnership is part of Sullivan's 50th anniversary celebration.
