LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- An illegal dumper is caught in the act by a Louisville police officer on patrol. The truck was towed away from the alley on Parthenia near the Watterson Expressway.
It was the first impounded vehicle involved in illegal dumping under a new city ordinance. Officials say the person who caught dumping lives in the neighborhood.
Metro Louisville will hold the vehicle for six months up to 12 months.
The car will not be released until there is proof that all fines for illegal dumping, cleanup costs, and tow lot fees have been paid.
